This year we will once again be participating in the YMCAs Trunk or Treat 10/28 from 4-6pm. Our theme this year is Monster Ball. If you want to help pass out candy come dressed as your favorite monster!
Accepting candy donations or healthy snacks as some kids didn’t want candy last year. Last year we passed out 989 bags of candy and snacks. That’s a lot!
Please bring your donations to the meetings on Tuesdays this month so we can make this Trunk or Treat a rocking good time! |

The Rotary Club of Ellsworth Food Drive for Loaves and Fishes Food Pantry The Rotary Club of Ellsworth will be conducting their annual Food Drive for the Loaves and Fishes Food Pantry in Ellsworth on Saturday, November 18th from 9am to 2pm at the Ellsworth Hannaford. We accept food or monetary donations at this event to help those in need in Hancock County. Once again, this year we are adding a challenge -"The Two Tons of Turkey Challenge!" We are asking all Rotarians and members of the community to help donate two tons of Turkeys to the Pantry (250 frozen turkeys are needed, in lieu of a turkey two chickens or a ham will be greatly appreciated). Donations can be dropped off Saturday November 18th during our food drive at Hannaford in Ellsworth or at the Loaves and Fishes Food Pantry during operating hours: Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 9:00am to 12:30pm or 4:00pm to 6:00pm on Wednesdays. If you live out of town, you can donate $20 and that donation will count as a turkey. Donations can be mailed to our club’s address at PO Box 741, Ellsworth. Rotary is a worldwide organization of business and professional leaders that provides humanitarian service, encourages high ethical standards in all vocations, and helps to build goodwill and peace in the world. Clubs represent a cross-section of the community and are nonpolitical and nonreligious. The Rotary Club of Ellsworth was chartered in 1950 and currently has 62 members.
