Guest speakers Corey Bagley and Michelle Cote presented on Wreaths Honoring Veterans at Woodbine a non-profit organization. The organization mission is “Honor, Teach and Remember.” It has two goals: first to identify all veterans at Woodbine and help Kyle, a high school senior, raise funds to cover the cost of placing a wreath at each grave. The organization will continue his efforts. The organization has completed identifying veterans in the upper part of the cemetery and working now on the remaining areas. They are fundraising now to cover the cost of 1200 wreaths. On December 14th, National Wreaths Across America Day, wreaths will be laid at the cemetery. All are welcome to assist. Circulated was a form for ordering wreaths or go directly to the website www:wreathsacrossamerica.org/ME0055 to place an order for Woodbine. Wreaths are $17 each or if 2 are purchased and additional wreath is free.
Respectfully submitted
