On Tuesday, October 27th at 6 PM, our club had a virtual meeting over the telephone and internet via Zoom as well an In-Person meeting at China Hill. President Laura Pellerano started the meeting.
Invocation was read by Dave Wells.

All Happy Dollars goes towards KidsPeace for Christmas gifts for the kids this quarter. Dave Wells, Carl Lusby, Tricia Quirk, Marian Wells, Rod Fox and Laura Pellerano all gave happy dollars this week.

- Treasurer Debbie Ehrlenbach would like all Happy Dollars and Polio Plus donations to be mailed in a.s.a.p. to Rotary Club of Ellsworth, PO Box 741, Ellswoth, ME 04605.
- Blood Drive at Ellsworth Elks Lodge: Tuesday, October 27th from 1:00-6:00pm. Scott Kimball is looking for volunteers for the month of November and December. A sign-up sheet will be emailed.
Community Service Update: Loaves and Fishes Food Drive at Ellsworth Hannaford on Saturday, November 21st. Jodie Cushing will email a sign-up sheet for those who are able to help. - ClubRunner Passport: The Clubrunner Passport was emailed to all club members. We encourage all members to complete to be entered into a weekly $20 Visa Gift Card drawing! ClubRunner Mobile is wonderful tool allowing membership directory data to be available at your fingertips as well as other club information such as weekly newsletters, upcoming events, guest speakers and meetings. It is a great companion to our ClubRunner website.

Gene Pellerano – President - In Person Meeting Reminder: Laura Pellerano reminded club members that the Board met agreed to start meeting in-person again at China Hill every other week. Guidelines and dates will be emailed to everyone soon.
- Fundraising Update: Our club is partnering with Haven’s Candies in Scarborough Maine to help raise money for the club during this challenging year. Haven's Candies has generously agreed to donate 20% of all Ellsworth Rotary Club sales back to the Club. If you purchase $100 of candy or other items, Haven's will donate $20 directly to the Ellsworth Rotary Club. www.havenscandies.com
- Foundation Update: Lincoln Ehrlenbach reminded club members that our club goal is to raise $6,000 to the Annual Fund. Lincoln believes we can and will do more than that. He would like to see 100% club participation towards Every Rotarian Every Year (EREY). Twenty Five Rotarians have currently donated to the Annual Fund. Cindy Shoppe won a $10 gift card!! Congratulations!

Guest Speaker: This week’s guest speaker was Pamela Hansberry of Forgotten Felines, a rescue and re-home Rehabilitate that provides assistance with spay and neutering stray and feral cats. They are 100% funded by donations and funds raised from yard sales and craft fairs.
$472 was raised from our 1st Quarter Happy Dollars for Forgotten Felines!
