Community Support Director Cindy Shoppe presented a check to to Downeast Adaptive Youth Recreation in the amount of $900.00 to Todd Wagstaff and Kristy Hardison.

Community Service Update: Painting project went well and all rooms were painted and looked good.
Community Service project: Marc Rich is looking for volunteers for Aug 2nd to help set up tables at Morris Center and help tearing down tables afterward. Ellsworth High School Freshman BBQ is scheduled for Tues, Sept 3rd.
Deadline for RYLA sponsorship submission is Aug 30th
Program/Speaker: Jacqueline Wycoff of the Community Closet was our guest speaker this week. The Community Closet opened 2 years ago in Ellsworth and works to needs of the community with food rack, clothing, back to school assistance and blankets in winter. They also have an Emergency room to assist people who lost everything to fire or disaster. They are currently working with Walmart to fill a school bus with school supplies for Aug 3rd.
