The 2025 Sheriff’s Cup: Organized by the Downeast Family YMCA and the Hancock County Sheriff’s Department will be coming held on March 7, 8, and 9 at the Ellsworth Elementary Middle School, the Ellsworth High School, and the Wiggins Center in Ellsworth. 75th Anniversary Celebration: We are excited to invite you to the Ellsworth Rotary Club’s 75th Anniversary Celebration! Guest Speaker: Our guest speaker this week was Kelly Cochrane. Kelly is the Business and Workforce Incentives Coordinator at Eastern Maine Development Corp. With a natural curiosity (or "nosiness"), she stays informed and builds meaningful connections with job seekers, training partners, resource partners and local businesses. Her background in education, employee training and development, retail operations, and community volunteering drives her passion for helping individuals navigate their career paths—whether they're entering the workforce, advancing, or returning.
Kelly is passionate about supporting both job seekers and employers. She is dedicated to bridging the gap between the two by collaborating explore how workforce services can create mutual benefits for all involved.
Polio Cups: Reminder to donate to Polio! For every $1 donated, 7 children are vaccinated.
Next week at Rotary- February 25th – Club Assembly. Committee chairs will give a summary from the past quarter and introduce any new plans over the next couple months.
