JoAnn called the meeting to order. She welcomed all Rotarians and guests. Guests attending were Corey Bagley, Jamie Trader, Heather Masse, Cathy Sjogren and Graviel. She thanked Debbie for taking minutes, Marian and Dave Wells for being Sargeant at Arms, and Michael for taking care of the audio visual.
Nancy Mayo presented Heather Masse and Cathy Sjorgren with a donation of $500 from the club for Sarah’s House to help with the cost of installation of an elevator. The 50/50 of $7 was won by Lincoln and he donated it all back to the cause. Circulated was a list of all business partners and friends of Rotary who have contributed to our efforts to date. Please be sure to thank these businesses for supporting the club and to frequent them and support them often.
Our boat trip on the Sea Princess is next week. Please email Linda Elliot to let her know if you plan to attend. You can purchase tickets in advance by calling 207-276-5352 or purchase your tickets that night. The boat leaves Northeast Harbor at 6:15 pm and they ask that we arrive 15 minutes before departure. The cruise is 1 ½ hours. After the cruise, those who want can join for dinner at the Nor’Easter at the Kimball Terrace Inn.
The Freshman BBQ at EHS will be on Monday, August 31st from 10-12. Please let Stacie know if you are interested in helping cook and serve lunch to the Freshman students their first day of high school.
Autumn Gold breakfast is scheduled for Saturday, September 26th at EEMS from 7-10am. Set up will be Friday afternoon on 09/25. Kelly will provide details as the date gets closer.

Clyde shared that Grace is selling mums to raise money for the EHS cheerleaders. See Clyde if interested in purchasing mums. The cost is $10 per plant.
Dave introduced Graviel. Graviel presented updates on the progress of Centro de Prothesis. Our international project this year is to raise awareness and funds to purchase adapters for prosthetics. Proceeds from our Autumn Gold breakfast will fund this effort.
