Guest Speaker: Our guest speaker was Caroline King of the American Red Cross. Caroline has served as the Executive Director of the American Red Cross of Northern and Eastern Maine since 2015.

From offices in Bangor and Caribou, the Red Cross serves seven northern most Maine counties from Fairfield to the Fort Kent and covers more than 60,000 square miles and includes more than 440,000 people.

In her role as “the Face of the Red Cross” in these communities, Caroline works to increase community awareness and participation in humanitarian mission of the Red Cross, along with harnessing their generous support and commitment of individuals, communities and local businesses.

The Red Cross is always looking for volunteers. Please help by signing up at the monthly blood drives in Ellsworth or give blood on a regular basis.
