Rotary Clubs in District 7790 were asked by Past District Governor, Doug Curtis to consider helping support Window Dressers in their effort to provide volunteer assistance to those in need of winterization assistance.
The Rotary Club of Ellsworth volunteered at St. Joseph's Catholic Church earlier this week with this project.
Window Dressers is a Maine nonprofit, virtually run by volunteers. Their model involves each customer providing labor to help assemble inserts, but there are always some customers who are simply physically unable to participate, so other volunteers are vitally important to the success of the project.
