  • Fred Beyer reminded us of the Honors Banquet on April 9th.  There are 3 students who need sponsors.
  • Clyde Cushing updated on Everybody Eats
  • Clyde Cushing also announced another way for Rotarians to get involved in meetings:  Rotary Well-Wisher.  The Well-Wisher will be stationed at the exit after meetings to collect badges, hand out information, and thank people for coming out.
  • Gene Pellerano circulated a sign-up sheet for Literacy Reading for the month of April.
  • Lincoln Ehrlenbach reminded that the International Committee is collecting items and money to buy soccer balls, etc. for the upcoming Wheelchair Project to the Dominican Republic
  • Carl Lusby reported the Paul Harris Committee met this week. Paul Harris Night is June 11th at China Hill.
  • Rotary Auction Update: Jo Cooper passed around the latest Auction List. This has been emailed to club members.
  • Tracy Shaffer shared with club members the proposed Bylaw revisions. The club will vote on April 16th.
  • Laurie Johnson from Hospice shared about signing up for the Hospice Patient Care Volunteer Training. She passed around information on how to do so and what supports groups are provided for the community.
Program/Speaker: This week’s guest speaker was Adam Rouhana. Adam is the co-founder and CEO of the Diyalo Foundation, a non-profit organization promoting sustainable development in Nepal through education, energy, and agriculture. Diyalo's mission is to transform education in Nepal.
