If you are newer to our club or if you would just like to revisit some club basics and enjoy the company of fellow Rotarians for a few hours, please plan to attend our Club Basics Get Together Saturday, February 25 from 9 - Noon at St. Dunstan's, 134 State Street.
This will be an on-site offering with a continental breakfast kicking us off at 9 AM. Several members of the board will be present to discuss many highlights of the club from our current handbook and overview current leadership roles and committee posts that you may want to consider.
We will also discuss briefly how our club fits into the big, international picture of Rotary. This session will not overlap with Rotary Leadership Institute (RLI) Part 1, so you can plan to attend both if you would like.
We are looking for at least 5 members to sign up in addition to the board member facilitators who will host this session. If you have a perspective member that is looking for more detail on our club before joining, they would be welcome as well.

If we are unable to enroll at least 5 Rotarians beyond the board, we will postpone the session.

Rotarian Jodie Cushing shared that the club will be hosting an upcoming “Cabin Fever” fundraiser on March 25 from 9 AM – 2 PM for the indoor craft fair and “yard sale” that The Ellsworth American used to sponsor at the Ellsworth Elementary and Middle School. Crafters are already signing up and table space for each crafter is $25. Food will be available for purchase through a third party group and we will collect $1 at the door for admission. Be looking for more information on signing up to help at the event or the day before. Set up will be Saturday the 24th at the Ellsworth Elementary and Middle School beginning at 3 PM.
