1. The Ugly Sweater contest raised $132.00 towards The Next Step!
2. School Snow Day Chart is passed around weekly. All dollars will go towards the WHCA THAW Fund.
3. HCTC Night will be on Tuesday January 16th. This is a re-scheduled date from December that was canceled.
4. NEW Blue Cups are here for Polio Plus donations!
Program/Speaker: Tim McCluskey was our guest speaker this week. Tim is currently the K-4 Principal at Ellsworth Elementary Middle School (EEMS). He has been in education going on 18 years and has worked in all levels K-12. During his teaching years, he also coached football, basketball and baseball at MS and HS levels.
Tim provided the EMMS Volunteer Training to the club for our Rotary Early Literacy Program.
At EEMS and the ESD, value parents and community members who wish to volunteer in their schools.
Before being accepted to volunteer, all volunteers must attend a training session once per year * and also have their name/information go through a criminal background check through the Maine State Police at no cost to the individual.
Volunteer forms were passed out to club members. Please fill out and return to Clyde Cushing a.s.a.p.
